First completed in 1991, the corporate office was conceived to support a growing network of companies. Set back from a busy intersection, the building proudly sits atop a gradually sloped front lawn populated with trees and plantings.
The three-storey glazed knuckle welcomes staff and visitors into a daylit lobby, opening to a pair of two-storey office wings. Site planning and interior circulation were designed in anticipation of future expansion and ever-changing office environments.
Over two decades later, the development of Wing “C” was designed as an integral continuation of the original facility. Through careful matching of precast textures and colour tones, the new wing blends effortlessly into the existing structure, preserving architectural coherence across generations.
The two-storey expansion, built over a full basement and engineered to accommodate a future third level, reflects both flexibility and foresight. Its interior program addresses the needs of a contemporary workplace, balancing open collaborative zones with enclosed offices, high-tech video conferencing rooms, and a dedicated truck simulator. Spaces for learning and development, including classrooms and breakout areas, are paired with wellness amenities such as a health centre and fully equipped fitness room.
The project introduced high-performance building systems, raising the bar for energy efficiency while laying the groundwork for future adaptability. Delivered under a fast-tracked schedule, the expansion enabled uninterrupted operations throughout construction. What emerged is a unified campus—one that demonstrates how strategic growth can honour its origins while preparing for what lies ahead.
